Controls how much air enters the engine when you twist the throttle grip.
Technical
Throttle valve actuated by cable from the right handlebar grip. Throttle position sensor reports angle to ECU for fuel and ignition mapping.

Regulate airflow in response to rider throttle input.
Between airbox and intake manifold on the engine intake tract.
